At the end of every semester, students are asked to complete an end of course student evaluation of teaching (SET). The results of the evaluations are sent to the course instructor after grades are posted. Data collected through the SET are used in efforts to continually improve faculty pedagogy. If the instructor is a full-time faculty member, the Likert Scale results are shared with the Chair or Dean. If the instructor is a part-time faculty member, both the Likert Scale results and written comments are shared with the Chair or Dean. The results are used for the annual evaluation of faculty.
